RMS Group Acquires KL-Rengas / Pieksämäen Pintapojat Oy

The service group for commercial traffic and private motorists, Road Mobility Services (RMS Group), has purchased Pieksämäen Pintapojat Oy, best known under the name KL-Rengas, which is part of the RengasCenter chain. KL-Rengas has locations in Pieksämäki, Juva, and Lappeenranta.

Founded in 1998, KL-Rengas specializes in the sale, repair, and installation of tires for both light and heavy vehicles. The company also offers retreading services for heavy-duty tires.

Expanded Services: Roadside Assistance Comes to Pieksämäki

KL-Rengas, or Pieksämäen Pintapojat Oy, is known for its excellent customer service and ability to handle all types of tires, from passenger cars to large agricultural machinery. Through this acquisition, RMS can now offer an even broader range of services to both new and existing customers.

KL-Rengas’s own service offering is also expanding. In February, Hinaus Andersson Oy, part of the RMS Group, will begin offering 24/7 roadside assistance in collaboration with KL-Rengas in Pieksämäki.

Synergies and Future Outlook

As part of the Road Mobility Services Group, KL-Rengas and its customers will benefit from the group’s advantages, including improved purchasing channels, digital tools, and expanded emergency services.

KL-Rengas will continue operating under its current name with the same dedicated team.
