Road Mobility Services Acquires Däckproffset – Becomes the Leading Tire and Recovery Service Provider in Northern Sweden
Road Mobility Services proudly announces its latest strategic acquisition of Däckproffset, the leading tire service provider in Luleå. With this acquisition, RMS Group strengthens its position as the largest player in tire and recovery services in northern Sweden.

Road Mobility Services (RMS Group) maintains a strong presence in Sweden and Finland, serving as a trusted partner for companies and commercial traffic operators who depend on minimizing downtime and keeping their vehicles on the road.
Däckproffset brings over 40 years of experience in heavy vehicle tire services and is a valued partner to many companies in northern Sweden’s growing mining and transport sectors. Together, RMS and Däckproffset now offer a broader and more comprehensive range of services tailored to the region’s evolving needs.
– For us at RMS, this is about strengthening our presence in one of Sweden’s most important growth regions. Northern Sweden is home to mining, forestry, power generation, and other industries that rely on large machines – and large tires. The bigger the vehicle, the higher the cost of downtime. By combining Däckproffset’s local expertise with our national strength, we create an unbeatable offering for companies that require fast and reliable service, says Janne Granstedt, Head of Tire Services at Road Mobility Services.
Road Mobility Services already has partners in Kalix, Östersund, Piteå, and Umeå. With the addition of Luleå, RMS becomes – without comparison – the dominant provider in northern Sweden.
Customer Benefits in Northern Sweden
Däckproffset is renowned for outstanding customer service and the ability to handle everything from passenger car tires to large industrial machinery. The acquisition brings significant advantages for both existing and new customers in the region, who will now gain access to a broader service portfolio. In addition to Däckproffset’s specialized tire services, customers will now also benefit from RMS’s roadside recovery services – a crucial support in a region like Norrland, where long distances to service centers can translate into costly downtime.
Synergies and the Road Ahead
The two companies anticipate several synergies, including consolidated purchasing for better pricing, shared digital platforms, and extended night-shift availability through the wider RMS network. Däckproffset will continue to operate under its current brand and with the same local team – now with the added backing of RMS’s larger structure and resources.
– Becoming part of RMS gives us access to a broader network and more resources – a clear advantage for our customers. At the same time, we retain our local identity and close customer relationships. Däckproffset will continue to operate as the small-scale, community-based business it has always been – now with the benefits of being part of a larger group, says Gunnar Brännvall, Business Manager at Däckproffset.
