Road Mobility Services Expands in Småland – Tranås Däckservice Joins the Group
Road Mobility Services (RMS) continues its growth journey and strengthens its presence in Småland by welcoming Tranås Däckservice to the group. The acquisition marks an important step in RMS's strategy to build a nationwide network of high-quality service companies with strong local roots.

Roger Thure, who bought Tranås Däckservice in 2017, has a long history in the industry. He began working at Däckservice inAneby in 1985, a business he took over in 2001. In 2024, the operations in Aneby and Tranås were merged, and Aneby is now run as a branch of Tranås with Niklas Lång as site manager.
Agriculture has become something of a specialty for us, with many visitsto farmers, says Roger Thure.
Since 2011, Roger's son Richard Thure has been part of the company, and in connection with the 2024 merger, he became a co-owner. Today, the business hasa total of six employees, evenly distributed between the locations.
Tranås Däckservice is particularly known for its emergency service, where specially built trailers and service vehicles make it possible to cover an area with a 300 km radius. All six employees are involved in the emergency service, which creates a high degree of flexibility and customer proximity.
It feels fantastic that we now have Roger and Richard on board in Småland, with a large catchment area and strong local presence, saysJanne Granstedt, tire manager in Sweden at RMS.
The acquisition means that RMS further strengthens its position in both thepassenger car and heavy traffic segments, where Tranås focuses on heavy vehicles and Aneby primarily on passenger cars – but with the expertise tohandle everything from the smallest to the largest tire.
Becoming part of RMS gives us a fantastic opportunity to continue growing and developing, say Roger and Richard Thure.
