Road Mobility Services acquires Kirkkonummen Rengaspiste in Finland

Road Mobility Services expands its network by acquiring Kirkkonummen Rengaspiste, which operates in Kirkkonummi and Lohja. The acquisition strengthens the group’s tire services and expands its presence in the strategically important Western Uusimaa region.

Kirkkonummen Rengaspiste, part of the RengasCenter chain, offers a wide range of tires – from passenger cars to trucks as well as agricultural and work machinery. Its services include tire changes and storage, repairs, balancing, and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) checks. The company has operated in Kirkkonummi since 2000 and opened its Lohja branch in February 2025.

Kirkkonummen Rengaspiste will continue under its current name within the RengasCenter chain. Entrepreneur Kim Rajalin will remain responsible for both locations, and all staff will join the group in their current roles.

Going forward, customers will benefit from close cooperation with Road Mobility Services’ emergency services. The company will also gain access to new procurement channels and digital tools. With this acquisition, Kirkkonummen Rengaspiste will provide local, entrepreneurial service backed by the resources of a large group, focusing on premium-level service.

“The tire industry has long needed a fresh perspective, and Road Mobility Services’ concept delivers exactly that. We wanted to actively be part of this new model. Tire buyers benefit from comprehensive service across the Nordics and efficient procurement methods. Seamless cooperation between all group companies reduces fleet downtime,” says Kim Rajalin, entrepreneur at Kirkkonummen Rengaspiste.

The acquisition is part of Road Mobility Services’ growth strategy and strengthens its network in an area with heavy traffic and road transport.

“With our latest strategic acquisition, we expand services in a geographically important area and continue our growth in Finland. Kirkkonummen Rengaspiste brings valuable expertise in tire services to our group,” says Catarina Göthberg, CEO of Road Mobility Services.

“With this acquisition, we can offer Western Uusimaa’s heavy traffic local, fast, and professional tire service. This supports regional supply chains, especially ports and routes via the E18 highway, and reduces costly downtime for transport companies,” says Markku Reinikainen, COO and Managing Director of Road Mobility Services Finland.
